The long gestating Flash film has evolved over the years and seen several different directors come and go, but it seems that its final form mat have been worth the wait.
With Batmen Michael Keaton and Ben Affleck back in the fold, we knew Flash was going to introduce the Multiverse concept to the DCEU, but today’s brief panel, which featured directors Andy and Barbara Muschetti, star Ezra Miller and writer Christina Hodson. In addition to giving us a first look at some incredible concept art, it also confirmed what we all had been expecting: it will introduce the Multiverse to DC films.
In addition to confirming that the film will be an adaptation of Flashpoint, the panelists explained that the film will open the door to the Multiverse and hinted that nothing is off the table when it comes to where that might lead. The video included clips from Lego Batman, Constantine and more and, as we know, it’s Barry’s attempt to save his mother that’s at the center of it.
