‘Squid Game’ Funko Pops Revealed by Funko

Every once in a while a series comes around on Netflix that takes the world by storm. Just a few years ago, that series was Stranger Things, becoming a pop culture phenomenon and now going into its fourth season. Netflix seems to have done it again, with Squid Game taking the world by storm, quickly becoming one of Netflix’s most-watched series of all time.

Like every popular show or movie, Funko soon follows behind with a slew of collectibles to memorialize your favorite characters and moments. Revealed exclusively by Entertainment Weekly is the first wave of Funko Pop! collectible figures from Squid Game. The first series will include Gi-Hun, Sae-Byeok, Sang-Woo, Ali, Il-Nam and one of the Red Workers.

Along with the main wave of common release characters comes a few exclusive figures to the line. The series will feature two variants of the Red worker with one Square mask exclusive to Walmart, and the triangle mask exclusive to the Funko Shop.

All of the Squid Game Funko Pops are currently set to release early next year in 2022, no specific release date has been issued. However, you can pre-order all the figures aside from the Funko Shop worker on Amazon and Walmart.

The first season of Squid Game is currently streaming on Netflix. There is currently no word as to if the series will continue for a second season at Netflix. However, with its massive popularity, it seems like a safe bet that the series will continue.

  • ‘Wandavision’: First Look at New Agatha and Vision Funko Pops!

‘Wandavision’: First Look at New Agatha and Vision Funko Pops!

The upcoming designs are from the latest episode of WandaVision. Only continue at your own risk, as it will spoil a major reveal.

Funko is back at it again, as they held back the best figures until they can officially reveal them. Shockingly, these WandaVision Funkos haven’t leaked throughout the past few weeks. Funko has released multiple figures following its debut. It included figurines for Billy and Tommy, who were dressed up and ready for Halloween. Of course, there was also one for “Pietro” in his classic Quicksilver costume. The trend continued this week with an all-new look at upcoming figures, which includes Agatha Harkness and the mysterious white Vision.

Agatha’s big reveal was about two weeks ago, but we only got a close look at her comic-inspired costume in the latest episode. The second figure is the white Vision, who we briefly saw at the tail end of the eighth episode when S.W.O.R.D was finally able to activate him under the Cataract Project. This version of Vision will also get a glow-in-the-dark variant that will be exclusive to Walmart. The Vision gives us a great look at the character, which we only briefly looked at in the episode. It highlights his gold detailing and the glow of his headpiece. If you look closely, it seems to resemble Iron Man 2‘s arc reactor.

WandaVision is streaming now on Disney+ and will wrap up its season with the upcoming episode. Even with every reveal, there are so many questions that will keep us glued to our screen. Hopefully, the trend will continue well into the next few shows, such as Falcon and The Winter Solider.

  • Funko Leak Reveals Which ‘The Suicide Squad’ Member Gets a Pop

Funko Leak Reveals Which ‘The Suicide Squad’ Member Gets a Pop

Some time ago, we found a listing via dis.pops that revealed the many upcoming Funko Pops for WandaVision, the Spider-Man: Miles Morales game, and Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Now, it looks like they got their hands on another list that includes a variety of collectibles from HamiltonParks and Recreation, Fire Force, Masters of The Universe, Avatar: The Last Airbender, and perhaps the most exciting, The Suicide Squad. Of course, the variety includes their famous Pop! figurines and keychains. Yet, if you take a closer look at the list, it seems not every member of the Suicide Squad is getting a spotlight in this collection.

Going by the list, Harley Quinn remains the film’s most popular character with two different pops listed. There are some noticeable members missing, which includes Pete Davidson‘s Blackguard, Alice Braga‘s SolSoria, Flula Borg‘s Javelin, and Nathan Fillion‘s TDK. They aren’t the only ones, as even Jai Courtney‘s Captain Boomerang, Michael Rooker‘s Savant, as well as Peter Capaldi‘s The Thinker. It certainly could be a hint at the character’s fate in the story, or they might be included in a future line-up that will be added in the future. There is also the possibility we might get some Funko’s that highlight the way they exit the film. It is surprising they didn’t give the team’s new mascot Weasel, who is played by Sean Gunn, his own figurine. They might be part of the toy company’s new pops focusing on Movie Moments. It’s interesting to see them embracing new ways to expand their figurines.

  • UNBOXING Marvel Collector Corps’ Infinity Saga End Credits Scenes

UNBOXING Marvel Collector Corps’ Infinity Saga End Credits Scenes

You may have noticed us branching out on the site more and more over recent months. Today, we are putting out the first of what we hope to be MANY unboxing/opening videos! As many of you know, I am an over-zealous collector so we decided it would be pretty easy to share with you all.

As you’ll see, Charles V., who edited the video, put a couple of his own touches on the video below. I was lucky enough to get Arlyn Murphy to help me out with this one and I hope that, over time, she takes over the narration. Enjoy and please give your respectful criticisms so we can improve the process.

  • Leaked Funko Pops Offer First Full Look at Anthony Mackie’s New Falcon Suit

Leaked Funko Pops Offer First Full Look at Anthony Mackie’s New Falcon Suit

It is crazy to think that The Falcon and the Winter Soldier originally was going to release in August. Now, we are still anxiously waiting for a release date. WandaVision took its place as the first MCU original show on Disney+, but we don’t even know when that will air. Still, the pandemic has not stopped the production of tie-in products that tease what we can expect from these series. Not too long ago, we got our first look at a very comic-accurate Zemo through his leaked Funko Pop. Now, we got another closer look at the Funko Pops that gives us a great first full look at Anthony Mackie‘s Falcon suit for the upcoming series. We only got glimpses of it in the initial poster.

The first poster teased a stronger focus on red, which is paying tribute to the characters’ original costume. The back of the box confirms that three Funko Pops are available from the series. There is a chance, however, that these are just a limited run. Still, there is no sight of that Captain America costume that Falcon will most likely wear once he accepts his new role. His Funko also includes the returning Red Wing, who we briefly saw in Captain America: Civil War. It will be interesting to see if his companion gets a bit more action in the upcoming series.

I also have to mention the parallel between Winter Soldier’s star and that of Captain America’s shield. It’s a small visual added to the box that serves no real purpose, but I love this kind of detail. These are certainly must-buys for fans of the MCU and these respective characters. Hopefully, we will get a trailer soon that shows these new costumes in action.
