BREAKING: Marvel Studios Cuts Ties with Jonathan Majors

Following a pair of guilty verdicts were leveled against Jonathan Majors, Marvel Studios has parted ways with the actor. Majors was found guilty of reckless assault on the third degree and of harassment stemming from an incident with a former partner in March.

Majors was cast as Kang the Conqueror–amd several Variants–in 2020 and after appearances in Loki and Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania, was set up as the main villain of the Multiverse Saga. The actor would have been the central figure in Avengers; The Kang Dynasty which is currently set for a May 1, 2026 release.

According to THR, Marvel will look to recast and plans to move forward with The Kang Dynasty. Writer Michael Waldron recently boarded the project, taking over writing duties from Jeff Loveness who wrote Quantumania.
