The series, which is scheduled to debut in the Summer of 2021, will consist of a series of episodes that riffs of off the Infinity Saga movies, changing one key aspect of some of the foundations of the MCU. Feige recently hinted that Doctor Strange: In the Multiverse of Madness would be directly connected to two Disney Plus series, one being WandaVision, leaving fans to speculate if What If…? might just be the other and that each episode may be taking place in the Multiverse explored in the Strange sequel.
Whatever the case, it’s continuing to look like we could possibly see a shift in the Disney Plus timeline revealed just this past July.
