Ubisoft’s ‘Scott PIlgrim vs. the World’ Game Finally Returns

Ubisoft Forward has brought us quite a few interesting tidbits. They finally revealed the Prince of Persia: Sands of Times remake. We got a good look at the retitled Gods & Monsters. There was, however, one confirmation that many were hoping for. Ten years ago, Edgar Wright brought us the amazing film Scott Pilgrim vs. the World. It was an adaptation of the comic by Bryan Lee O’Malley. As a tie-in to the film, they also created a Double Dragon-inspired game. It was closer to the original comics design and offered a memorable chiptune soundtrack. Suddenly, it vanished from the marketplace and we thought we’ve seen the last of it. Luckily, O’Malley had teased that they may have been in talks to bring back the game. Well, looks like he was right.

This version will include the DLC making Knives Chau and Wallace Wells playable. It is great to see such a fantastic game return. I spent quite a lot of time replaying the story with each character back when it released ten years ago. Now, I am a bit in denial that it’s been that long since the game originally released.
