‘DOCTOR STRANGE IN THE MULTIVERSE OF MADNESS’ to Wrap Filming This Week

With so many Marvel Studios productions going on simultaneously, it’s often hard to keep track of which project is at what point. Thankfully, Marvel Studios The-One-Above-All has our backs. In an interview with The Undefeated, Kevin Feige mentioned that Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will complete principal photography in the UK this week.

Production on the sequel began last November and was, at one point, delayed by a COVID surge in London. As noteworthy as the impending end of production is the new hat being sported by Feige. The Sanctum logo on the front looks to be an allusion to the multiverse and perhaps the idea that the Sanctums are focal points of it; additionally, the star on the side of the hat is a clear nod to America Chavez’s role in the film and the star-shaped portals she uses to travel through the multiverse. The film’s working title, Stellar Vortex, seems to also have been in reference to Chavez’s unique abilities.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness stars Benedict Cumberbatch, Elizabeth Olsen, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Benedict Wong and Xochitl Gomez and is currently slated to hit theaters on March 25, 2022. Find out everything we know about the film right here!

  • EXCLUSIVE: ‘AMERICAN HORROR STORIES’ Looks to Be Revisiting the Freak Show

EXCLUSIVE: ‘AMERICAN HORROR STORIES’ Looks to Be Revisiting the Freak Show

We recently learned that FX’s AHS spinoff anthology, American Horror Stories, would be taking us back to the Murder House for an episode. Now a new casting call for the series might indicate that Ryan Murphy and crew might have another story to tell that’s somehow linked to Season 4’s Freak Show theme. American Horror Stories is currently casting for trained circus or carnival performers with an emphasis on sword swallowers, contortionists, fire breathers, scare lookers and more that would fit in nicely in the Freak Show!

The circus performers are expected to be working on the episode from late April through early May; with prep on the Murder House being done now and shooting expected to take a couple of weeks per episode, the potential Freak Show episode could be next up for Murphy and his crew. Murphy announced American Horror Stories last year and noted that it would likely feature familiar characters from different seasons of AHS. There’s no word on when American Horror Stories is expected to premiere but with filming taking place over the next several months, we might be waiting until 2022 to see what Murphy and company have in store.

  • ‘THE FALCON AND THE WINTER SOLDIER’: Sebastian Stan Doesn’t Know What’s Next for Bucky

‘THE FALCON AND THE WINTER SOLDIER’: Sebastian Stan Doesn’t Know What’s Next for Bucky

The final act of Season 1 of Marvel Studios Disney Plus streaming series The Falcon and The Winter Soldier kicks off this Friday with an hour-long 5th episode that will begin to wrap up the season-long arcs of Sam, Bucky, John Walker, the Flag-Smashers and more. The series has been incredibly popular with fans and, since the beginning, has been lauded for the character development of its leads. Sebastian Stan, who’s been a part of the MCU for over a decade, has been given a chance to show a side of his character (and the range of his own abilities) that we haven’t previously seen and already has fans hoping for more. As it turns out, Stan is hoping for more as well, but when asked in an interview with Collider if he had discussed a second season of the series with Marvel Studios One-Above-All Kevin Feige, Stan had this to say:

No, we have not, and I’ll tell you that honestly, we have not. As per usual, I don’t quite know what the next step is. We never really do. Maybe some people do, maybe [Robert] Downey [Jr.] used to know, I don’t know. I got on the phone with him just to catch up, and I was saying to him, ‘Dude, you could fucking tell me to go swim under[water], I’ll do anything.’ It doesn’t matter. Or if this is it, my heart is just as big.

As we head towards the conclusion of Season 1, a few things feel pretty inevitable, but Bucky’s arc doesn’t really seem to feel like one of them. Fans are expecting Sam to take up the mantle of Captain America, for John Walker to become U.S. Agent and for a few other loose ends to be tied up, but it’s still unclear where Bucky’s road will take him once this series wraps. Has he burned bridges with Wakanda or will he be welcomed back as the White Wolf? Will he continue to work through his notebook to make amends for his actions as the Winter Solider? Could he and Sam find common ground as parters? And is Zemo willing to let him do any of those things with his plan to wipe Super Soldiers off the planet? With only 2 episodes left, we’ll get answers sooner than later.

Disney Plus Launches ‘BLACK WIDOW’ Page Ahead of July 9th Release

The Scarlett Johansson solo Black Widow film has undergone quite the journey in getting to fans. Recently with the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic still making it hard for Marvel Studios fans to get into theaters, Disney made the decision to make Black Widow available on Disney Plus Premiere Access the same day it will be released in theaters. Today, the Disney Plus page for the film went live, giving us a look at the artwork and a description of the film exactly 3 months ahead of its premiere.

Natasha Romanoff confronts the darker parts of her ledger when a dangerous conspiracy with ties to her past arises. Pursued by a force that will stop at nothing to bring her down, Natasha must deal with her history as a spy and the broken relationships left in her wake long before she became an Avenger.

As of now, there has been no official word from Disney on how long Black Widow will remain exclusive to D+ before moving to other streaming services. Mulan stayed exclusive for about 3 months, so we could possibly see something similar for Black Widow. For now, we can say, however, that the countdown is on!

Renée Elise Goldsberry to Co-Star in ‘SHE-HULK’

Actress Renée Elise Goldsberry has joined the cast of the upcoming Marvel Studios Disney Plus streaming series She-Hulk. According to Deadline, Goldsberry is playing a character named “Amelia”; Amelia is a code name for a yet to be revealed character, but we can add that Goldsberry will portray a high-powered lawyer who keeps her private and work lives very separated.

Evil': Renée Elise Goldsberry Set For Multi-Episode Arc – Deadline

Though Deadline was unable to get comment from Marvel Studios, it is possible that Goldsberry is playing Mallory Book, a lawyer who worked with Jennifer Walters at Goodman, Liever, Kurtzberg & Holliway and is known as “the face that never lost a case.” First introduced in Dan Slott’s 2004 She-Hulk #1, Book had a very roller coaster relationship with Jennifer Walters and was also a victim of an attack by Titania, who is rumored to be the villain of the show, on the firm.

Goldsberry won several awards for her performance as Angelica Schuyler in Hamilton and can currently be seen co-starring alongside Tina Fey in the Peacock streaming series Girls5eva. She-Hulk, starring Tatiana Maslany as Jennifer Walters/She-Hulk, is expected to stream on Disney Plus early in 2022.
