As time has gone on, several high profile Avengers: Doomsday leaks have proven to be extremely valid. Now, on the heels of the first trailer serving as evidence that plenty of information about the film has escaped Marvel security, a new batch of rumors indicates fans could expect a wild assortment of heroes taking on Doctor Doom in the third act battle.
Contrary to earlier production leaks claiming legacy characters would serve as brief second-act cameos, the latest dispatches reveal that Marvel Studios has officially integrated key A-list superheroes—including legacy X-Men figures, the Fantastic Four, and returning Avengers icons—directly into the movie’s high-stakes third-act war against Doctor Doom’s forces.
According to My Time To Shine Hello, with the tide seemingly having tutned in Doom’s favor, Loki will arrive on the scene with an eclectic crew of heroes. Allegedly, Tom Holland‘s Spidey, Tobey Maguire‘s Spidey, Hugh Jackman‘s Wolverine and Halle Berry‘s Storm will be joined by Star-Lord, Ms. Marvel, Kate Bishop, Cassie Lang, X-23 and Moon Knight.
That’s quite a group and it does line up with other information that’s made the rounds, including the post-credit sequences to The Marvels and Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
