REPORT: Ben Mendelsohn May Reprise ‘Rogue One’ Role in Disney+ ‘Andor’ Spin-Off

It looks like one more Rogue One veteran is returning in the upcoming Andor spin-off, as The Direct has reported that Ben Mendelsohn will reprise his role as Orson Kennic. However, they do point out that they are unsure of how big his role might actually end up being in the series. There is a chance he has a brief cameo, as our titular character Cassian Andor, played by Diego Luna, might infiltrate an Empire base at some point in the series. This news drops shortly after Bill Skarsgard leaked the fact that Forest Whitaker was also returning in the upcoming Disney+ series as Saw Gerrera. It seems that we could see more familiar faces from Star Wars‘ first non-episode film pop up potentially.

Mendelsohn gave us a great performance as the main antagonist in Rogue One. So, his return is a welcomed one. It looks like the actor has a big future with Disney+, as he is also slated to appear in the upcoming Secret Invasion series from Marvel Studios. Of course, it is uncertain if he simply has a brief cameo in Andor, but he would make for a great recurring character that somehow manages to always get into Cassian’s way at the most inopportune times. You can never go wrong with more of Ben Mendelsohn n in any project. Here’s hoping we also get some more familiar faces returning to flesh out the era when the Empire ruled over the galaxy.

It seems that the Nier franchise keeps growing in popularity, as it was just revealed that the iconic outfit of Nier Automata‘s 2B is heading to the popular multiplayer game, Fall Guys. We’ve seen various pop culture-inspired costumes throughout its runtime and, at this point, it’s hard to imagine which franchise hasn’t added a reference to Nier at this point. The trailer also seems to tease penguins in the design of the alien machines that invaded Earth in the game with a unique background. It would be great to get a unique level inspired by the game, but t seems it mainly is focusing on releasing the costume.

  • REPORT: Jameela Jamil to Play ‘She-Hulk’ Villain Titania

REPORT: Jameela Jamil to Play ‘She-Hulk’ Villain Titania

It looks like there is no end to the news surrounding Marvel Studios’ future on Disney+. We’ve recently got a tiny glimpse behind the scenes of She-Hulk with a look at Mark Ruffalo donning his CGI suit. Now, it seems that Illuminerdi got their hands on some news, as they just shared the info that The Good Place‘s Jameela Jamil is playing the villainous Titania. She’s an interesting addition as the main foil for Jennifer Walter. Illuminerdi believes that she was the character that went under the code name “Lucy.” She was described as a Kardashian-esque social media influencer with a dark side. We don’t know exactly how the series will play out, but it certainly would be a unique take for the class Marvel villain. Jamil‘s addition will surely offer a lot of fresh comedy to the series and she could make for an interesting dynamic between the two unlikely villains.

If they truly follow this social media-focused character, it could give us a glimpse at what role She-Hulk might have. We know from Avengers: Endgame that Hulk is a well-known hero. So, the existence of a female version of his would also get quite a bit of attention. She might end up becoming more famous than Tatiana, which pushes her over the edge to keep up with her unlikely enemy. Of course, she could also just end up being one of Jennifer’s clients throughout the legal comedy’s run.

It’s quite an understatement that the Jurassic World franchise is quite beloved. It always made us wonder how we’d do if we got a chance to take on that role ourselves. Well, Jurassic World: Evolution gave us that chance and it looks like the franchise is continuing to build up as they finally unveiled the sequel that teases some underwater action. I’ll probably only make it for a day or two.

Summer Game Fest: Hideo Kojima Reveals ‘Death Stranding: Director’s Cut’ for PlayStation 5

It looks like Hideo Kojima and Kojima Productions aren’t quite done yet with Death Stranding, as they just revealed that an updated version is heading to the PlayStation 5 in the form of Death Stranding: Director’s Cut. The video reveal was actually quite clever by playing a prank on its viewers who thought they might get some Metal Gear Solid-inspired elements when Sam Bridges briefly jumps into a box just like Solid Snake used to. While it didn’t quite go that way and they didn’t reveal much, it seems like it’ll serve a similar role as Final Fantasy VII Remake: Integrade had. It was just an additional naming for the PS5 upgrade of the game which might include some new content.
