First Look at ‘Fortnite’s New ‘Multiverse of Madness’ Scarlet Witch Skin Leaks

Nowadays, it has become a tradition that any major film release will also include some kind of tie-in. Most of the time, all eyes are on the Funko Pops that add a little something for collectors. Yet, there’s another gaming franchise that has become quite consistent with its film tie-ins. Fortnite has always revealed some great skins for players that always wanted to play as their favorite heroes. Well-known Fortnite leaker HYPEX has shared the first look at Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness‘ tie-in skin that features Wanda Maximoff’s new Scarlet Witch costume.

While we don’t get a good look at the full design, it definitely is great to know that we’ll get to play as this version of Wanda in the game, especially those that wanted to get their hands on the iconic costume. The design definitely stands out and feels like a natural evolution from what we saw in WandaVision, which surprisingly didn’t have a tie-in. So, while I said it consistently has a tie-in, there are also some expectations, and perhaps is this addition a way to make up for that.

  • ‘The Book of Boba Fett’s Krrsantan and Fennec Shand to Join ‘Fortnite’

‘The Book of Boba Fett’s Krrsantan and Fennec Shand to Join ‘Fortnite’

Here’s a pleasant surprise ahead of The Book of Boba Fett‘s finale, as it looks like that besides the titular former bounty hunter, we’ll also get Fortnite skins for Fennec Shand and the show’s new addition in the form of Krrsantan. You can check out the first look as shared early by @iFireMonkey:

They also shared the new image that is being used to promote the two character’s additions with Boba Fett lurking in the background. It seems that they don’t have a loading screen currently, but could end up getting added later on.

That’s not all, as it seems that Ming-Na Wen’s Fennec Shand gets her own teaser trailer with a small cameo from The Mandalorian and his iconic line “This is the way!”.

The designs look great and fans of the Disney+ series will definitely check out the additions. It’s crazy to think how big Shand’s role was since her minor appearance in the first season of The Mandalorian, but it just shows how any character can grow if given enough time. Krrsantan is also a great addition, especially with him finally making his way into live-action after being introduced through comics. We’ll see who else might get added in the near future.

  • ‘Fortnite’: Leak Offers First Look at ‘Hawkeye’-Inspired Skins

‘Fortnite’: Leak Offers First Look at ‘Hawkeye’-Inspired Skins

It’s already been a few weeks since Marvel Studios’ last Diseny+ series, Hawkeye, ended its run. We explored the story of Clint Barton and Kate Bishop, as they faced an unlikely challenge in the return of Vincent D’Onofrio‘s Kingpin. It was only a question of time until the new designs of these iconic characters make their way to other media, and it looks like Fortnite had some big plans for the characters that ended up leaking earlier.

@ralisdumb has shared the loading screen for the two new skins, which continues to prove that Epic Games found the perfect animation style for its skins in Fortnite. It seems like they can perfectly adapt any type of medium into the game, as it now includes live-action characters, animation, and who knows what else might get added in the future.

I do love the aesthetic they took to highlight the skins, as it has this neon noir take on the rings. The Disney+ series mostly has a Christmas aesthetic and takes a lot of inspiration from the My Life as a Weapon storyline, which had a flat design. So, the Fortnite take on the design is a great way to not only make the new skins stand out but also give it a unique spin.

  • ‘No Way Home’ Fortnite Tie-In Includes Spider-Man and MJ

‘No Way Home’ Fortnite Tie-In Includes Spider-Man and MJ

It looks like Fortnite’s Winterfest has just grown with one more iconic addition. Spider-Man was featured heavily in the latest season, and now they’ve announced that we’re also get Spider-Man: No Way Home-inspired skins in the game. Of course, they announced it in style with a new trailer celebrating the beginning of Winterfest, as well as confirming we’re not only getting Spider-Man but Zendaya‘s MJ as playable characters as well. The costume featured in the short sequence is the one he created in Far From Home, but will bring back in the upcoming sequel:

It looks like he’ll also receive the Black-Gold suit that has been featured in trailers and heavily through merchandise. @BRMarvelNews shared a first look at the various costumes. It seems that MJ will only receive a single design.

They join Insomniac, who have also included tie-in costumes for the latest Spider-Man entry, as they offered both the Integrated suit and the Black-gold version, as the Red-Black suit already was featured from Far From Home‘s release. Sony certainly has invested quite a bit of money to manage and reach every corner of the market, and Fortnite is one of the biggest gaming franchises out there. At this point, we’ve seen quite a few celebrities appear in the game, but it’s interesting that they added MJ. Perhaps we get some villain costumes to tie into the film as it finally rolls out across the world.

  • First Look at Dwayne Johnson as The Foundation in ‘Fortnite’ Chapter 2’s Finale

First Look at Dwayne Johnson as The Foundation in ‘Fortnite’ Chapter 2’s Finale

There have been many theories surrounding the real identity of the character The Foundation in Fortnite. As Chapter 2 was coming to an end, there were more hints that it actually be Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. Most notably, he had the character’s helmet in his refrigerator as he was promoting ZOA with a weapon in the background. So, there were quite a few theories that he might very likely reveal his face in the final moments of the Chapter 2 finale. Well, it turns out the theory was correct, as we finally got our look at the Rock during the events – eyebrow raise included. @JimViscardi was kind enough to share the full reveal on Twitter:

It’s becoming quite a fun theme for Fortnite to pretty much include anything that exists in pop culture. We’ve also seen quite a few actors and celebrities become characters in the game, such as Arianna Grande and LeBron James. The latter was part of a crossover with the Space Jam: A New Legacy crossover while Grande got a full digital concert in the game. Technically, Johnson is the first in-universe character being played by an actor, as he is still called The Foundation rather than by his real name. So, we’ll see if there’s more to it.

  • First Look at ‘Fortnite’s Batman Who Laugh’s Skin

First Look at ‘Fortnite’s Batman Who Laugh’s Skin

It looks like Fortnite is adding one of Batman’s most fearsome rogue’s, as a brand new Batman Who Laugh’s set has been unveiled. Twitter user @iFireMonkey shared the first look at the skin alongside the confirmation it is a redeemable code through a limited edition Batman/Fortnite Foundation comic. He’ll also be available through the Item Shop, but won’t include the exclusive loading screen. The design looks like it was taken directly out of the original comic line. He’s the Bruce Wayne of Earth -22 that ended up killing his universe’s Joker before becoming consumed by a virus that turned him into the next Joker. He first appeared in 2017’s Dark Days: The Casting #1.

The game’s art style has proven like the perfect blend to bring any type of medium into its battle royale universe. Fortnite has also built up quite the relationship with Marvel and DC to bring various characters from their multi-media franchises to life in the game. It’s crazy to think that there’s Tom Hardy‘s Venom in a shootout with Shang-Chi, Kratos from God of War, and Batman Who Laugh’s. The game has just recently started a new season and who knows who else might find their way into the game as it continues to grow.

  • ‘Fortnite’: First Look at ‘Venom: Let There Be Carnage’ Inspired Tom Hardy Skin Leaks Online

‘Fortnite’: First Look at ‘Venom: Let There Be Carnage’ Inspired Tom Hardy Skin Leaks Online

The latest season of Fortnite kicked off the event with a brand new Carnage skin. Well, it looks like Sony and Marvel have one more skin inspired by Venom: Let There Be Carnage, as Twitter user @HYPEX shared a leaked image featuring a brand new Venom skin. Not only does it showcase the design from the films, but it seems the base version is a Tom Hardy-inspired skin for players to run around with. It’s not the first actor look-a-like that joined the project, as they’ve also recently added a Will Smith-inspired skin from Bad Boys.

The game has truly become a way for brands to promote various projects. Marvel’s Avengers game has also been pushing Marvel Cinematic Universe-inspired skins that showcase how intertwined their projects are at this stage. Fortnite has the advantage of not only being a multiplayer experience but also includes special events. In the past, they had collaborative events like an alien invasion or even an Ariana Grande digital concert. Who knows if we’ll get a future that has film events integrated into these unique experiences, as it continues to grow and combine countless brands.

RUMOR: ‘THE SUICIDE SQUAD’s Weasel and King Shark May Join ‘FORTNITE’

Fortnite has become the world for any kind of property you can think of. They’ve collected a variety of iconic franchises through their skin offerings. Over the past year, players were able to get their hands on Marvel and DC skins of all kind. Recently, a rumor seems to hint at Shang-Chi joining the game alongside the film’s premiere. Well, it looks like The Suicide Squad might get more rep soon.

Earlier in the month, we got the release of a Bloodsport skin in the game. It added many theories that we might see more represented, as the game included marks for Peacemaker, Rebirth Harley Quinn, King shark, and Polka-Dot Man, which released alongside the character and his Starro backpack. Harely Quinn, who was already in the game, did get the new outfit, but there was no sign of the rest. Well, Fortnite leaker @HYPEX may have revealed that a King Shark and Weasel skin might release in the future. He does also point out they may have gotten scrapped as well.

King Shark seemed like a popular choice to join the game, but Weasel is a curious surprise. As stated above, HYPEX doesn’t clarify which of these skins got scrapped. There’s a chance that it only refers to the unspecified ones, but as the film has released some time ago, it’s odd they wouldn’t try to time the release accordingly. King Shark might also be a difficult one to adapt as he requires a completely new body type unlike the more humanoid characters. Here’s hoping we get some more information in the near future.

  • RUMOR: Shang-Chi Joining ‘FORTNITE’ to Celebrate the Film’s Premiere

RUMOR: Shang-Chi Joining ‘FORTNITE’ to Celebrate the Film’s Premiere

Fortnite has become the center of pop culture, as it includes a wide variety of DC, Marvel, Star Wars, and many more inspired skins. It looks like Marvel Studios is using the chance to promote their latest film Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, as the titular hero will get skin in the game according to well-known Reddit leaker u/SmugMrMime. He also highlights it’ll release on September 2nd alongside the film’s premiere.

This news was also highlighted by @HYPEX who has an extensive history of sharing Fortnite-related leaks. There is no visual confirmation of his inclusion, but he does note that the Bad Boys skin of Will Smith‘s Mike Lowrey will release on August 28th. So, his timely release would be an indicator of Shang-Chi’s validity. As the Will Smith-inspired skin found its way online around a week ago, we’ll see if the same will happen with Shang-Chi.

It’s not uncommon for films to utilize other media to promote their projects. If there is any place to get a wide audience, it’s one of the most popular games currently available. It also has a wide range of players actively sharing their experiences online, which garners more attention. Plus, including Marvel Studios’ first Asian-American superhero and giving him more attention outside of the film is a great move.

  • Loki Heading to ‘Fortnite’

    Loki Heading to ‘Fortnite’

It looks like Marvel wasn’t quite done with Fortnite. A few months ago, they had a major event that saw a variety of Marvel characters join the Fortnite Crew in a battle against an invading Galactus. The recent event saw the addition of Superman during an alien invasion. Well, it looks like they aren’t quite done yet, as the official Twitter channel revealed that Loki is joining the game with a tweet. The golden horns aren’t subtle but it’s certainly a great addition to the game. We still don’t have our official look at the skin’s design, but it seems likely it’ll be strongly inspired by Tom Hiddleston‘s run as the character.

Fortnite has become the center of pop culture and gaming. They’ve added a grand list of classic comic and movie-inspired characters. They’ve also added countless gaming icons, which include franchises like Tomb Raider, Horizon, Street Fighter, and even Halo. The developer also had done collaborations with Disney+ in the past. So, there’s a good chance the July release of Loki is to coincide with a new collaboration.

It would be great if we even get an alternative skin to ply as Sylvie, who got recently introduce into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. There are still some reveals to come n the upcoming weeks, as we are only halfway through the series. So, we might get a lot more as the show continues to grow and expand into the multiverse. Who knows if it might even build up the next Fortnite season.
