‘Stranger Things’: Joe Keery, Natalia Dyer, Maya Hawke and More Featured in New Season 4 Set Photos

It’s crazy to think that the upcoming fourth season of Stranger Things has been teased all the way back in February of last year. In the mini-teaser titled “From Russia with love…” we got a glimpse of what happened after the events of the last season and got the dramatic reveal of Jim Hopper’s fate. Luckily, we got a short follow-up in early May that gave us a glimpse at Eleven’s upbringing before she made her grand escape. They offer us glimpses into what we can expect but the latest set photos offer a glimpse at

Sadly, we aren’t allowed to share the images from JustJared, but you can check them out by clicking here.

We can see Joe Keery, Natalia Dyer, Sadie Sink, Calex McLaughlin, and Maya Hawke preparing for some kind of battle. Joe Keery is wielding an ax alongside Natalia with a shotgun. They look like they went through quite some trouble, as these images give off an apocalyptic vibe. We know from the end of last season that the group has split. Perhaps the Upside Down found its way into reality and merged with it.

They certainly are collecting quite a few supplies. It’ll be interesting to see if they introduce a new major threat like the mind Flyer, or if they will have to take down an army of Demogorgons. Hopefully, we’ll get an official trailer in the upcoming months with a release date that’ll hint at what exactly will befall the little town of Hawkins.

  • ‘Outer Banks’ Star Madelyn Cline Joins Netflix’s ‘Knives Out’ Sequel

‘Outer Banks’ Star Madelyn Cline Joins Netflix’s ‘Knives Out’ Sequel

The first Knives Out film caught the attention of audiences around the world when it assembled an all-star cast of talent for Rian Johnson’s mystery comedy film. The film’s cast included stars of old and new with Chris Evans, Ana De Armas, Don Johnson, Jamie Lee Curtis, Toni Collete, and Michael Shannon. Daniel Craig led the cast as detective extraordinaire, Benoit Blanc. A few weeks ago, Netflix purchased the franchise in a $400M+ deal that would ensure two more sequels. The first castings followed quickly on the project. Now, it seems that Outer Banks and Stranger Things star Madelyn Cline has joined the upcoming mystery thriller. It remains unknown who Cline will be playing. Of course, the plot continues to remain the biggest mystery now.

So far, it only seems like the story will find take place in Greece, as filming is planned there for the upcoming summer. The only thing we know is that Cline is joining an all-star cast that consists of Dave Bautista, Janelle Monae, Kathryn Hahn, Kate Hudson, Edward Norton, and Leslie Odom Jr. The film will be written and directed by Rian Johnson. He will produce the film alongside Ram Bergman. It is currently unknown if the franchise will stick to the “Knives” naming, as that was strongly connected to the iconic visual of the first film. Perhaps we can expect the sequel titled to stick to “Out” in some form or another.

  • ‘Umbrella Academy’ Set Photos Offer First Look at Britne Oldford as Sparrow Academy’s Fei

‘Umbrella Academy’ Set Photos Offer First Look at Britne Oldford as Sparrow Academy’s Fei

Netflix just recently dropped. major franchise as they decided not to move forward with the second season of Jupiter’s Legacy. Still, it isn’t their only superhero-focused franchise s they’re also still busy filming the upcoming third season of Umbrella Academy. Last month, we got our first look at Elliot Page on the set of the production and it seems that wasn’t all. @seansmovies shared an image on Twitter that reveals our first look at Britne Oldford as Fei Hargreeves, a member of the Sparrow Academy.

We got introduced to the Sparrow Academy at the end of the last season. The group is similar to the Umbrella Academy as their actions in the past led to a brand new timeline where their father Sir Reginald Hargreeves build a new team. The roster was plucked from the 43 children who were adopted by Hargreeves, as they were all born simultaneously. In the comics, the team was only given the title The Sparrows. The series already seems to imply we’ll get more time with them as some of the members didn’t even have names in the original comic. It’s unclear what role they will have and if our team of unlikely heroes will find a way back to their original timeline. Whatever direction Netflix’s next series is heading, it will certainly be a wild ride.

  • Netflix’s ‘Sandman’ Adds Patton Oswalt, Stephen Fry, Jenna Coleman, And Many More

Netflix’s ‘Sandman’ Adds Patton Oswalt, Stephen Fry, Jenna Coleman, And Many More

When Netflix announced that it had begun development on an adaption of Sandman, people were both extremely optimistic and a bit cautious. The series would follow Morpheus, one of the seven siblings who represent an aspect of life. It includes Death, Desire, Despair, Delirium, Destiny, Destruction, and of course Dream. These seven siblings were the children of Time and Night. They would be destined to serve their purpose until the end of time. So far, the series had only cast Dream at this point, and for a while, many had begun to wonder if any of the others would show up at all. Looks like that finally changed.

Netflix took to Twitter to officially reveal more casting for its upcoming adaption, including some fan favorites. The series has cast Kirby Howell-Baptiste as Death, Mason Alexander Park as Desire, Donna Preston as Despair, Razane Jammal as Lyta Hall, Joely Richardson as Ethel Cripps, Niamh Walsh as Young Ethel Cripps, David Thewlis as John Dee, Kyo Ra as Rose Walker, Sandra James Young as Unity Kincaid, Stephen Fry as Fiddlers Green, and Patton Oswalt as Dreams Raven, Matthew.

It appears as if the upcoming series is set to adapt the first volume of the character’s iconic run. The story follows people trying to capture Dream’s sister, Death. But instead, Dream is captured and imprisoned for 70-years. The story picks up following his escape as he sets off to reclaim some very powerful items he lost during his travels. As production starts, hopefully we get some pictures from set teasing the look of Netflix’s next big franchise.

  • Netflix’s ‘Knives Out’ Sequel Adds Kate Hudson

Netflix’s ‘Knives Out’ Sequel Adds Kate Hudson

Murder is afoot, as Knives Out 2 adds another famous face. The Hollywood Reporter has revealed that Kate Hudson has joined the project alongside various franchise newcomers. She is joining the latest additions that include Leslie Odom Jr., Kathryn Hahn, and Janelle Monae. So far, the only returning actor from the original film is Daniel Craig. They continue to keep the plot of the production hidden as it eyes a production start in Greece.

Hudson has quite the filmography but took a brief break after 2017’s Marshall. Her first film since was the 2021 musical drama, fittingly titled Music. The actress is well-known for her work on films such as Almost Famous, How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, Bride Wars, and Fool’s Gold. As director and writer Rian Johnson loves to play with conventions, we can’t really pinpoint which type of role she may tackle in the upcoming sequel.

As the first film had quite an all-star cast, it is too early to say if there are more to come. At this point, it wouldn’t be too surprising if Johnson tries to expand as much as possible. With the setting potentially being in Greece, we may be introduced to an entire town of potential victims and murderers. Hopefully, we might get some more details as production starts and a word on just how large this cast may end up being. It is uncertain if they might even be hiding one or two guest appearances to catch us off-guard once it releases on Netflix.

  • ‘Addams Family’ Spin-Off Finds Its Wednesday in Jenna Ortega

‘Addams Family’ Spin-Off Finds Its Wednesday in Jenna Ortega

Tim Burton has been hard at work bringing back the Addams Family to the small screen, as Netflix is developing a spin-off focused on the young daughter of the family, Wednesday. The series with the same name will be a coming-of-age comedy from the team that brought us Smallville, Al Gough, and Miles Millar. Burton is slated to direct. Unlike the classic family comedy, this series will follow Wednesday Addam’s years at the Nevermore Academy, where she will be solving a supernatural mystery and master her new psychic abilities. after a long search, the series has finally found its leading star as Yes Day‘s Jenna Ortega will take on the iconic role.

The upcoming series will be quite a departure from the original and it is uncertain if we will get visits from other members of the Addams family. If she is exploring a mystery that has haunted her family for generations, it wouldn’t be too surprising to see Gomez, Pugsley, Fester, or Morticia make an appearance throughout the series run. If they are only recurring guest characters, they could get some pretty big names involved with the project. At one point, many wondered with Burton’s involvement if we see his mainstays of Johnny Depp or Helena Bonham Carter join the project at some point. Still, whatever direction they may be taking, it is a fresh way to reenergize the franchise and make it stand out from the animated film series.

  • Leslie Odom Jr. Joins Upcoming ‘Knives Out’ Sequel

Leslie Odom Jr. Joins Upcoming ‘Knives Out’ Sequel

There is no stopping Ryan Johnson‘s upcoming Knives Out sequel. Throughout the last few days, we’ve been getting one casting announcement after another. It looks like his next entry in the Netflix-owned franchise will feature another stellar all-star cast. With production set to begin in Greece sometime this summer, casting on the project has kicked into full gear. Following his recent Oscar nomination for their work in One Night in Miami, actor Leslie Odom Jr is set to join the cast of the upcoming sequel in an undisclosed role.

Odom joins the likes of recent additions such as Dave Bautista, Janelle Monae, Kathryn Hahn, and Edward Norton in what’s undoubtedly going to be a cast that’ll definitely rival that of the first. The sequel to 2019’s Knives Out will instead release exclusively on Netflix. This development comes after it was announced in a massive $400M+ deal that they’d acquired two sequels. In it, we got the confirmation that writer and director Rian Johnson will return alongside Daniel Craig.

The sequel currently has no set release date as production on the film has yet to begin. The film was once again written by Johnson who will produce the project alongside Ram Bergman. There have been no hints at what direction the film will go or even what kind of setting we can expect. If they are filming in Greece, we can expect a story taking place in that region. Perhaps Benoist Blanc’s vacation gets disrupted by a sudden case of murder?

  • ‘WandaVision’s Kathryn Hahn Joins ‘Knives Out’ Sequel

‘WandaVision’s Kathryn Hahn Joins ‘Knives Out’ Sequel

It looks like our theory is turning out true, as we are getting daily announcements for new Knives Out 2 cast members. Deadline has just dropped the news that Kathryn Hahn has officially joined the all-star cast that already includes Janelle Monae, Edward Norton, and Dave Bautista. Of course, Daniel Craig will return as the protagonist, Benoist Blanc. So far, it seems that Craig is the only returning cast member from the last film. He’ll be facing a brand new mystery that may twist up genres similarly to how the first entry in the franchise again.

Hahn is hot off of her time as Agatha Harkness on WandaVision. This casting news has already gotten a lot of attention and harking back on the Disney+’s show’s gag that it was her “All Along.” The film will be heading to film in Greece as its plot remains under wraps. We might have another extended family on our hands that gets rudely interrupted by murder during their vacation at the beach. They may also portray locals that get wrapped up in an unlikely case.

The first film’s cast was quite expansive. So, we might have barely scratched the surface and already see some impressive names joining the project. Rian Johnson‘s passion project garnered more attention after Netflix purchased the sequels for a record payment. It seems he is currently only planning out two sequels, but we may see if there are even more entries in Blanc’s repertoire in the future.

  • Millie Bobby Brown and Henry Cavill Returning for ‘Enola Holmes’ Sequel

Millie Bobby Brown and Henry Cavill Returning for ‘Enola Holmes’ Sequel

It looks like Netflix has another hit on their hands, as it was just revealed by Deadline that Henry Cavill and Millie Bobby Brown will be reprising their roles for a sequel. The film is based on Nancy Springer’s book series The Enola Holmes Mysteries that consisted of six entries. It explores the family dynamic between the Holmes and explores the rebellious teenage sister, who is just as much a super-sleuth as the rest. As such, it seems logical that we can expect around the same number of films as their new go-to film franchise.

I can’t wait to collaborate again with my Enola Holmes family! Enola holds a special place in my heart – she’s strong, fearless, intelligent and brave. I look forward to fans seeing how her journey continues!

Sherlock Holmes has seen countless adaptations throughout the years. So, the focus on his younger sister adds a new perspective to the classic whodunnit story structure we’ve come to love from the franchise. There s no word if others of the original cast will also return or if they will truly follow the books one by one. They could also add their own twist and take a new direction with the franchise. Legendary’s team will return with Harry Bradbeer set to direct the sequel. It’ll be based on a script by Jack Throne, who also was involved with the first film. We can’t wait to see where the franchise heads and we wouldn’t be sad if Cavill‘s Sherlock gets his own spin-off.
