‘LOKI’ Merch Gives Insight into the God of Mischief’s Upcoming Series

Some rather interesting quotes on new shirts for the upcoming Loki series have shown up on Amazon and Zazzle recently. It’s likely these quotes are actually spoken in the show, it’s worth a deeper look into their possible meaning and implications for the series.

“The Timeline Wants to Break Free.”

It isn’t entirely clear who might say this first quote in the Loki series, but certainly with the TVA involved and time travel, and a need to explain what’s going on, any number of characters could. One strong possibility is Mr. Mobius played by Owen Wilson saying that while explaining about the importance of keeping the main timeline clear and not allow branching off. This is the TVA’s job, after all, to correct and “snip off” the stray timelines to keep the main timeline, pure and keep the universe in order.

However, the image of Loki there on the shirt with this quote makes it seem like something Loki himself says, perhaps with a mischievous twinkle in his eye. This could be how we end up with a number of Lokis appearing during the course of the series. Loki would certainly enjoy all the naughty chaos this would create. Especially the version of Loki in this series who came from the 2012 Avengers film. The same Loki who is probably still bitter over his defeat and has yet to reconcile with his brother the way he did in Thor: Ragnarok. The implication being, Loki could be suggesting he’s creating different timelines for the fun of it, as a natural order of things for him. To a God of Mischief, a timeline might “want to break free,” and naturally all havoc ensues.

    Seige: Loki #1

Mobius and the TVA are sure to have their hands full if they have to deal with this version of Loki, breaking all their methodically thought out rules and regulations. This would set loose many, many timelines, producing a plethora or Lokis to wreak havoc and be a pain in Mobius’ ass in general, and could be a large part of the set up for Doctor Strange In The Multiverse of Madness. The second I saw Loki appearing to work with the TVA in the set pictures released last year, I had a gut feeling Wilson’s character was probably going to wind up regretting that particular partnership. If anyone from TVA thinks they can outsmart or “handle” Loki, they are in for a wild ride that probably won’t end well. Just ask King Laufey.

“What makes a Loki, a Loki?”

The next shirt quote found on some shirts on Amazon, would seem to have a deeper meaning, and certainly support the reports that there will be multiple Lokis in the series.

“A Loki.” Clearly that is a wink and a nod to there being multiple Lokis in the series. But it also appears to be a sign of some introspection from Tom Hiddleston’s lead Loki, and possibly his doppelgangers from other timelines and multiverses. The question of what makes any other of him still Loki, and his struggle to find his true self, as well as a way to finally triumph over Thor or just win the game of life, is something that’s been explored in the comics before as well. He’s been portrayed as an old man, a young man, a child, and a woman, a Frost Giant, an Agardian, a Norse God of many forms, a magician, a warrior, a trickster, a liar, a villain, a hero, a brother and a son. So we may very well see some very different versions of Loki, with likely all of them struggling with similar issues. Among them being: what makes a Loki, a Loki?

    Journey Into Mystery #645

How and where and when can any Loki find the right timeline so at least one Loki finally winds up on top? Perhaps we’ll find out what it takes or if it’s even possible for any Loki to “win” this Summer when the much anticipated Disney+ series finally starts streaming.

  • ‘Loki’ Merchandise Offers First Look at TVA Mascot Miss Minutes

‘Loki’ Merchandise Offers First Look at TVA Mascot Miss Minutes

Most of our attention has been towards the finale for WandaVision and Falcon and the Winter Soldier. In a surprising twist, we got some merchandise for the upcoming Loki series. The series will premiere in June, so we got an early look. The website, Zazzle, shared a variety that showcases Tom Hiddleston‘s Loki in his Time Variance Authority jacket alongside Owen Wilsons‘ Mobius. We also get our first official look at the TVA logo, which has the fitting tagline “For All Time – Always”. There is one visual that stands out even more, and that is the introduction of Miss Minutes.

After some digging, this wasn’t a character that has a history in Marvel comics. It is also curious that the character has this vintage design, which is similar to Felix the Cat in some ways. The trailers didn’t reveal any mascot character for the TVA besides the strange devil-tainted glass. That started a lot of theories on Mephisto having a connection to the time organization. Well, Miss Minutes could connect to the organization’s technology that got showcased in the trailer. In a few sequences, we see some advanced holographic technology that briefly shows the TVA logo. It turns into the titular anti-hero but from his future in Thor: Ragnarok. That would prove she also has a databank on the events throughout time.

She may be the mascot for the organization, especially with a name like Miss Minutes. In Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, we learn that Kang uses technology that had its origins in Stark’s designs. If he is involved with the time-traveling organization, they might have continued Tony’s love for AI butlers. Plus, if they can travel through, they might depend on some AI. So, they know how to avoid any negative influence on the timestreams. Avengers: Endgame made sure to warn viewers about the consequences of such actions. It’s a curious addition that hopefully gets some animated segments like Mr. DNA in Jurassic Park.

  • Marvel Studios’ ‘Loki’ to Premiere in June

Marvel Studios’ ‘Loki’ to Premiere in June

Here’s a surprising reveal. In December, Marvel Studios’ president Kevin Feige revealed the release dates for various upcoming Disney+ shows. We finally found out that Falcon and the Winter Soldier would premiere in March and it would be followed by Loki in May. Well, it looks like production for the series has been dragged out a bit longer, as Marvel Studios just unveiled that the series will premiere on June 11th on Disney+.

It’s an interesting delay, as we originally predicted they are trying to release something new every week. Black Widow is still focused on getting that May release date, as we haven’t heard any plans on delaying it more. It would imply there will be a brief pause between Falcon and the Winter Soldier and Loki, so it will be interesting to see if they have something else to fill the gap or they want to give Black Widow some breathing room in theaters. The return of the God of Mischief will certainly bring us into a unique story, as he becomes involved with the TVA and faces different timelines throughout his journey.

  • Super Bowl to Feature Disney Trailers for ‘Raya and the Last Dragon’, ‘Falcon and the Winter Solider’ And Potentially More

Super Bowl to Feature Disney Trailers for ‘Raya and the Last Dragon’, ‘Falcon and the Winter Solider’ And Potentially More

The Football event of the year is just around the corner. Everyone has their eyes on the Super Bowl for different reasons. Some are there to cheer on their team, while others can’t wait for those exclusive trailers. Well, after a year-long pandemic, some are wondering if anyone will risk the investment. According to Deadline, we will see a smaller line-up than in the past few years. Many streaming services like HBO Max, Peacock, Apple TV, and Netflix will skip this year. Luckily, it seems that Disney is willing to take the risk. They plan to release at least two to four trailers that will be on par with previous years.

Raya and the Last Dragon is a safe bet to be one of the trailers, as they want to test out their second Premier Access film that releases next month. Last year, Disney+ made a major splash with their first official teaser for their Disney+ slate. It was a short trailer that showcased Falcon and the Winter SoldierWandaVision, and even Loki. None of these series got a release date at the time, but it certainly left an impact when it initially aired. So, there is a good chance we will get another trailer that teases their 2021 Marvel slate. Deadline does not rule out a possible trailer for Black Widow, which is still set to release May 7th. They highlight that you shouldn’t expect a sudden announcement that the film will be made available on Disney+ during the event.

It is crazy to think that Black Widow released a trailer last year and was only a few months away from release. If they do end up including the upcoming Marvel film, there is a good chance we might not see another delay. They could be waiting out to see how Raya performs before making any decisions. It is understandable after Mulan underperformed last year on the service. The release of Pixar’s Soul saw a massive increase in app downloads. However, it probably was nowhere near as profitable as a regular cinematic release. Well, no matter which direction they end up going. There is no competition this year, and Disney will be able to dominate the post-game buzz with anything they decide to release.

  • 3 Ways Marvel Studios Can Find New Fans in Phase 4

3 Ways Marvel Studios Can Find New Fans in Phase 4

The last couple of years for Marvel’s Phase 3 seemed like the pinnacle of the MCU’s popularity. Black Panther and Avengers: Infinity War hit a bunch of records and milestones for both the franchise and the genre as a whole, and the three movies that came out in 2019 all surpassed $1.1 billion. And, of course, Avengers: Endgame grossed well over double that amount to becoming the highest-grossing film of all time.

The hype for Phase 4 is still massive, of course, but it’s hard to imagine it surpassing the level it was at during the back half of Phase 3. I know the same thing was said about The Avengers back in 2012, but at this point, the MCU is probably the most popular movie franchise in the world. Pretty much everyone who would be interested in checking out these movies has done so by now, and the films themselves can’t get any bigger in scope and scale than they already have. Even with all the multiverse stuff on the horizon, we won’t see a movie with as many headlining heroes as the most recent two Avengers films for quite some time, if ever.

If Marvel Studios wants to expand its audience – and it surely does, especially since becoming a major part of a streaming service that needs to keep growing its subscription count by appealing to as wide a variety of potential users as possible – it needs a new approach to hook newcomers. And from the looks of the MCU project lineup set for the next few years, there are three main ways they are aiming to achieve this.

    Inclusion

Ms Marvel first look: Meet MCU's Pakistani-American superhero | Entertainment News,The Indian Express

This is something we started to see more of an emphasis on towards the end of Phase 3 (it probably would have come sooner if not for Ike Perlmutter). Black Panther was a phenomenon that was highly praised not just as a superhero movie, but as a cultural moment for the Black community. Captain Marvel was the introduction for a lot of girls and women to superhero movies and many have since gotten invested in the MCU. Both movies piqued the interest of people who wouldn’t normally watch superhero movies, and a decent amount of those people seem to have stuck around and are now eagerly awaiting more Marvel content.

Looking at the 2021 projects alone, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Ms. Marvel, and Eternals are all set to feature characters from backgrounds that are underrepresented not just in superhero and action movies, but Hollywood in general. While it’s unknown just how well these stories and depictions are going to be handled, if they’re in a similar vein to the two aforementioned projects in how well they represent groups including the Asian, Muslim, Deaf, and LGBTQA+ (or GRSM) communities, they may draw in viewers from them who wouldn’t normally be into Marvel material and could be a major factor in the push for more of this kind of (hopefully positive) representation in the media going forward.

    Medium

    Loki (TV Mini-Series 2021– ) - IMDb

Pandemic aside, the launch of Disney+ couldn’t have come at a better time for Marvel Studios. It came out at the time when Marvel could no longer just keep scaling the scope of their movies up with each new event film; they had to find a new way to grow and expand their universe. The addition of miniseries on a streaming service to tie in with their theatrical films seems like a great direction for them to go in as it allows the studio to develop certain corners of the franchise in a deeper way than they could while operating on simply a few-films-per-year content schedule. It may also attract new fans who have subscribed to Disney+ for other reasons, like Star Wars or the library of classic animated films; it’s easier to press a few buttons and try something new on a streaming service that you’re already paying for than to drive out and fork over more money to go to a theatre and see something you’re not sure if you’ll like or not. And if newcomers to Marvel do enjoy the archive of movies and episodes of the new series, they may be more apt to head out to theatres to see future movies in the MCU.

    Genre

    Images | DMED Media

Marvel Studios is no stranger to playing around with different genres; Ant-Man is a heist movie, Captain America: The Winter Soldier a political thriller, Guardians of the Galaxy a space comedy, etc. But some have pointed out that a lot of the movies seem to be getting formulaic in a sense, and it looks like Marvel Studios is trying to get away from that in Phase 4.

WandaVision is perhaps the most obvious example of a departure from the norm in terms of genre, given that several of its episodes will be much more sitcom-y than a typical action-adventure one would normally expect from Marvel Studios. Also on Disney+ will be the law comedy of She-Hulk and mystery thriller of Loki.

On the film side of things, Eternals is said to have a very different look and feel to the other MCU movies thus far, and it has been noted that the bulk of the film was shot on practical sets built specifically for the movie. There’s also been a lot of talk about how much Doctor Strange: In the Multiverse of Madness will diverge from the typical vibe of a Marvel movie. It was originally announced to be “the first scary MCU movie”, but there’s been debate about just how scary it will be, given the film’s PG-13 rating and original director Scott Derickson’s departure from the project and replacement by Sam Raimi.

The Doctor Strange sequel might not be getting the R rating some fans wanted, but at least one film on Marvel’s docket will and another just might. Shortly after Blade’s announcement in 2019 it was rumored to be rated R, and Deadpool 3 was confirmed to also be rated R (and set in the MCU) just a few days ago during WandaVision press. The R rating for Blade, in particular, may attract a certain demographic of moviegoers not normally into the MCU who generally prefer darker fare.

Marvel may be on top of the world right now, but it’s important that the studio doesn’t get complacent going into this next phase of projects and beyond. It’s time to take risks and get weird, and we’re about to see if they’re going to do just that.

  • Kevin Feige Teases Multiple Seasons For Upcoming Disney+ Shows

Kevin Feige Teases Multiple Seasons For Upcoming Disney+ Shows

We are only a few days away from WandaVision finally airing. It’ll be the first in a wide variety of new shows that will kick-off Marvel Studios’ expansion into long-form storytelling. At first glance, it seemed like they were focusing more on mini-series than trying to focus on a yearly seasonal turnout. Disney+ is no stranger to it, as The Mandalorian just released its second season. However, that show also proved how flexible the streaming service is, as the upcoming third season will release later after a new show titled The Book of Boba Fett takes over its yearly release date. So, it made us wonder if Marvel Studios may embrace multiple seasons after all. Luckily, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige has confirmed this is very much a possibility:

It will vary. There are some shows that have been built to further expand our storytelling and then go into features. We’ve already announced Lizzie Olsen being a part of “Doctor Strange 2.” We’ve announced Teyonah Parris being part of “Captain Marvel 2.” There are some shows that, while always interconnected, are being built with multiple seasons in mind. So it’ll vary the way a lot of I think great TV now varies, whether it’s a couple of years between seasons of “Game of Thrones” or “Stranger Things,” or one offs like — what did I just watch? — “Queen’s Gambit.” One of the fun things about streaming is the rules are loose, which allows for you to just follow creatively, where you want to go.

Sadly, Feige is as tight-lipped as ever and did not give away which season could potentially be mapped out with multiple seasons. Interestingly enough, almost a whole year ago, our very own Charles Murphy did break the news that Loki was very likely to get a second season. It seemed like many of the lead and supporting roles were given options to return. A few days ago, the news broke that Loki showrunner Michael Waldron was also inking up a massive deal with Disney that would include a potential second season. So, it seems very likely that at least the God of Mischief was going to explore this. As Feige points out, they aren’t as restricted with their seasonal turn-out so they will adapt each show’s future season to fit within the overarching storyline, as they switch between Disney+ and feature films. So, we’ll see if WandaVision, Hawkeye, and the many other series might also return for multiple seasons.

  • Kevin Feige Willing to Experiment with Episode Lengths for Marvel Studios Disney Plus Series

Kevin Feige Willing to Experiment with Episode Lengths for Marvel Studios Disney Plus Series

The length of the episodes of Marvel Studios Disney Plus streaming series has been the subject of internet debate for quite some time. With WandaVision’s early episodes all checking in around 30 minutes, it’s clear that somewhere down the line the episodes are going to get longer in order to add up to the 6 total hours of time promised by the studios. In an interview with Collider, Kevin Feige shed some light on how the studio is experimenting with the episode lengths in some of the upcoming series.

Well, we’re looking a little differently. We’re looking at it as developing them as either six hour-episodes, or nine or 10 half-hour episodes. So, for instance, WandaVision started that way and Falcon and the Winter Soldier as 30 minutes, but because it’s streaming, it’s Disney+, and the rules have blurred over the years, yes. Some can be 23 minutes. Some can be much longer than that. But She-Hulk, for instance, is being developed as 10 30-minute episodes. Some will be longer and some will be shorter. Loki, Falcon and the Winter Soldier is being developed as six 40-50-minute episodes.

Some of what Feige said confirms things we’ve been hearing for some time, such as She-Hulk’s ten episode first season. However, it’s the first time we’ve heard any info on episode lengths for either The Falcon and The Winter Soldier or Loki, both of which are apparently going to be 6 episodes averaging 45 minutes a piece, giving a total run time of about 4.5 hours, or 2 movie’s worth of time devoted to these characters.

  • Michael Waldron Disney Deal Confirms ‘Loki’s Second Season

Michael Waldron Disney Deal Confirms ‘Loki’s Second Season

About a year ago, Charles had heard some rumblings that the upcoming Disney+ series Loki may have a second season. It mainly was connected to references of “actors being brought on board for lead and major supporting roles” with options for a possible second season included in their deals. Now it looks like that these rumblings were true. According to DeadlineMichael Waldron, the executive producer and head writer of Loki, has a major career ahead of him with Disney. He will take over writing duties for Kevin Feige’s Star Wars film and many more IPs. Apart from working on Kevin Feige‘s upcoming Star Wars film. In the article, there is a mention that Waldron will return in some capacity for the show’s planned second season.

This deal is significant for several reasons. For one, signing on an Emmy award-winning writer for multiple projects, which includes two of the biggest IPs in the world, shows an incredible trust in Waldron‘s work. It also is a clear sign that there are big plans for the character. The upcoming Disney+ series will see him join the Time Variance Authority in some capacity and exploring the different parts of human history. Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is confirmed to include Kang, they might be wanting to explore the aspect of time travel even more. It also might have some strong multiverse ties, as Waldron is also the writer of the upcoming Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness film.

  • ‘Knightfall’s Natalie Holt to Score ‘Loki’

‘Knightfall’s Natalie Holt to Score ‘Loki’

It is crazy to think we are so close to finally getting some Marvel Cinematic Universe content after a long hiatus. WandaVision finally premieres next week. It is going to be the first of potentially six shows for 2021. It’ll be followed-up by The Falcon and the Winter Soldier before Loki joins the service in May. We still know very little bout the shows, as it wasn’t until the recent Disney Investor’s Day that we got an official first look at most of the series alongside a release date. All eyes were on WandaVision, as it is releasing soon, but it looks like Loki has also been quite busy.

According to Film Music Reporter, Natalie Holt has joined Loki. She joins director Kate Herron and head writer Michael Waldron’s production team. Holt is known for her work on the TV series Knightfall and Amazon Prime’s upcoming Herself. She was also a part of 2014’s Paddington music department. It’ll be interesting to see what she brings to the series. The brief melody played during the initial Loki trailer is already a fantastic tease of what is to come.

It is crazy to think what a huge surprise the series focused on the God of Mischief turned out to be. When they first announced he was getting his series, I did not expect him to meddle in humanity’s history alongside the TVA. I also didn’t expect he would turn out to be the MCU’s version of D.B. Cooper, so we’ll see how else he ends up leaving his mark throughout time.

  • Deep Thoughts: One Hypothetical Marvel Studios 2021 Release Calendar

Deep Thoughts: One Hypothetical Marvel Studios 2021 Release Calendar

Marvel Studios sat out 2020 much to the despair of MCU fans; however, one possible timeline for the studio’s release pattern in 2021 could mean we’d only have just a few content-less Friday’s in the next year!

Last night, Edward Rose noticed that the official Disney Latino page listed WandaVision, Marvel Studios’ first Disney Plus streaming series, as having an 8-week run. That news got the wheels spinning and resulted in a hypothetical release schedule that would leave fans hanging on only 2 weekends. The underlying idea of this hypothetical scenario is putting new Marvel Studios content on as many Fridays as possible.

2021 will kick off with the first episode of Marvel Studios Legends on January 8th, catching fans up on the adventures of Wanda, Vision and maybe the rest of the returning cast members. The following week, WandaVision would begin its 8-week run (which does not necessarily mean 8 episodes and that really shouldn’t be that controversial of a statement) which would conclude on March 5th. Additionally, we’ll almost certainly get our first look at Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings during this time, with the February 7th Super Bowl being on likely opportunity.

While we have no confirmation of a Marvel Studios Legends episode for The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, it seems like a safe bet and if we bet on it happening, March 12th, pinned between the end of WandaVision and the beginning of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, seems like a pretty safe date. So March 12th recaps the zany adventures of Sam, Bucky, Zemo, Sharon and crew and then The Falcon and The Winter Solider would follow, beginning on March 19th and running for six weeks (this was CONFIRMED in the Disney Investor Day Fact Sheet), concluding its run on April 23rd.

Apri 30th would be a great time to tell the story of Natasha Romanoff with a Marvel Studios Legends episode dedicated to the Black Widow. While this is a Disney Plus series, there’s been no indication that the series will only tell the tales of the characters appearing in the Disney Plus series and in Nat’s case, there’s plenty to tell. This would give old fans and new viewers alike the opportunity to be prepped and ready for Black Widow when it FINALLY hits theaters on May 7th. Black Widow also provides Marvel Studios the opportunity to push out the first look at Eternals. Expect a trailer for the project a week or two before Black Widow’s May 7th release.   ***NOTE*** Should Marvel Studios films open overseas earlier than in the U.S. date, this part of the hypothetical schedule hits a bit of a speed bump.

The Marvel Studios Disney Plus streaming series, Loki, is next up. Loki is set to release in May, meaning Marvel Studios will have two projects out at the same time and as long as Black Widow remains a theatrical release, they’ll want as many butts in seats as possible. To that end, they’ll definitely give Black Widow a little room to breathe. Theatrical releases often make 50% or more of their total box office on the first weekend and rarely do “big money” after the second weekend. With this in mind, they might look to release a Loki-centric episode of Marvel Studios Legends on May 14th (there’s certainly a LOT to tell) and debut the first episode of Loki Season One the following Friday, May 21st. All indications at this point are that the Hiddleston-led streamer will run for 6 episodes, meaning it’ll wrap up on June 25th.

At this point, it looks like Marvel Studios could realistically release new content EVERY Friday for the first six months of the year save New Year’s Day…and then comes July 2nd, which will launch the 4th of July holiday weekend in the United States. It’s possible that the studio takes the weekend off, has something special in the works for the Fourth (it is Steve Rogers birthday, after all) or, I suppose they could release an episode of Marvel Studios Legends dedicated to the MCU’s brief and confusing history of the Mandarin and the Ten Rings. The last one makes a bit of sense because, on July 9th, Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings is going to rewrite that history when it debuts in theaters.

The further down the road and into 2021 this hypothetical schedule goes, the harder it is to predict, but why stop now? Next up for Marvel Studios is What If…?, their first animated project. The only available info on the project is that it’s set to be released next Summer and, according to several reports, is expected to consist of 10 episodes. Placing it on the schedule under the assumptions that they’ll give a theatrical film at least one weekend all to itself and that they’ll release What If…? one episode at a time as well, the animated series could debut on July 16th and conclude on September 17th.

In thinking ahead, that long gap serves a fairly important purpose if the goal is to provide new content every Friday: it allows Ms. Marvel and Hawkeye to “catch up.” The starts of both of those series were severely delayed by the pandemic and are currently scheduled for “late Fall.” If production continues without delays and the calendar fills out as predicted above, the two series could stream on either side of Eternals

According to the Disney Investor Day Fact Sheet, Ms. Marvel comes first and could start its six-episode run on September 24th. It’s possible that the studio could push out a Marvel Studios Legends episode about Captain Marvel given the connection between Kamala Khan and her, but it’s also possible they just start right up. If they do, the Season One finale of Ms. Marvel would stream on October 29th.

One week later, on November 5th, Eternals would make its LONG awaited degut in theaters. By introducing an entirely new group of characters, Eternals seems unlikely to be preceded by an episode of Marvel Studios Legends, though anything and anyone could show up in the film.

***NOTE*** after finding some new evidence, this paragraph was changed to reflect Hawkeye as a 6-episode series, so it would end on Christmas Eve.

Following the pattern previously laid out around theatrical releases, November 12th could be a nice Friday for the Clint Barton episode of Marvel Studios Legends. Set photos have indicated that Hawkeye, the studio’s final 2021 project, takes place during the holidays so kicking it off on November 19th would give fans episodes on the day after Thanksgiving and on Christmas Ever. All signs point to this one being a 6-episode season, meaning we’d wrap up before the calendar turns over to 2022. Assuming no production delays, Marvel Studios would have the opportunity to jump right into She-Hulk and continue taking over the world of entertainment.

Currently set to release on December 17th, 2021, Spider-Man 3 (which is scheduled by Sony and NOT Marvel Studios) throws a monkey wrench into the thought process of not having a film premier compete with an episode of a streaming series, but there are so many workarounds for that issue (Hawkeye taking a week off, the release date for the film being moved since production got off to a late start, Hawkeye not even starting until after Spider-Man 3) that it really becomes a non-issue.

While the chances of this hypothetical release calendar coming to fruition are approximately 3,720 to 1, the point of this wasn’t to plant a flag so we can do some chest-pounding later, but to extrapolate one possible release schedule based on the idea of having new Marvel Studios content on as many 2021 Fridays as possible. Right or wrong (and let’s be honest, this is almost certainly wrong), an exercise like this makes visible the scale of the studio’s plans and the role that Disney Plus plays in them: Kevin Feige and Marvel Studios will own at least a portion of the news cycle nearly every weekend for the foreseeable future.
